Concepts of our protagonist

As the game is successfully launched, we will also want to share the journey and interesting
things during development with you guys. Over the past three years many players have given
us interesting and innovative ideas to design and create better and more representative works.
Today, we're going to share with you the design concepts of our protagonist.

Inspiration

Yong He (Art director ):"Trying to make a character that fits into the game's worldview as much
as possible, makes sense and seems less abrupt."
As you know, Dark Souls is one of the games that inspired Fonzie to make Battle Talent,
and we're taking reference from it for more inspiration.

Dark Soul II

Dark Soul III

fledgling stage

Yong He (Art director ):
"There are cold weapons in the game, some firearms, and some with magical skills. With so
many weapons of all shapes and types, I assumed that can't be a traditional character."
We incorporated medieval themes with magic worlds in design. Also, you can see the
protagonist's eyes glowing, which make more sense and fit in the game's use of firearms and
other weapons, and we wanted glowing eyes to give him a modern feel.

Yong He (Art director ):
"In the initial design, I was thinking of designing a necklace for him."
In the first draft, we wanted to design a necklace to activate slow motion, but we gave up on it because we were worried that it would be a hassle for the player to trigger. For the cloak, we wanted to make it look a bit tattered. Making it as a broken cloak, that it could reflect the protagonist's traces of battle experience. In order to increase the sense of mystery, from the beginning we did not intend for the protagonist to show his face, so we did not design a face that belongs to the protagonist. Like the Marvel heroes: "it can be anyone under the mask, and anyone can be as heroic as the protagonist."

Glove design draft

Future

In the July update, we also optimized the character's hands, adding more details. Previously, the gloves felt too shiny and lacked the texture of leather folds. We wanted to soften the texture a bit. We will continue to optimize more details and perhaps a new pair of gloves will also be added to the main character for the player to choose from.

July Update

Thank you all for the support and love for battle talent, we will also work harder to improve the game details and every month we will update more interesting and fun weapons, spells and new features. Don't forget to follow us!
